Before making or breaking any habit, it is important to understand what really matters to you.

Dependencies are what make anything mean to you.

Everything that helps make life easier. For example, electricity. You cannot imagine your life without electricity.

But electricity is not a choice, it is a necessity, it is one that enables you to do almost every work you do in your life.

Therefore, whatever empowers you in any way can make your life easier. Whether it makes you physically or mentally empowered.

Just as advanced technology can make people’s lives physically better, similarly good habits, wise decisions, and positive thoughts can enrich your mental health to accomplish good in your life.

And in this post, I have prepared a list of 24 habits and decisions which can make life easier.

Let’s dive into it…

1. Try Big Things As Soon As You Can

I personally think that making early career decisions can make your life easier.

Listen, you cannot live beyond 70 – 80 years. And when you turn 60, you are good for nothing.

So you only have 60 years to live a good life. Out of this, you spend the first 10 -15 years learning the basics of your life. And the remaining 45 – 50 years you spend enjoying your life, planning your future, making money, growing your family, and more.

So if you really want to achieve something big in your life, then you need to start very soon.

And in my opinion, as soon as you turn 20, you better think of doing something big. In this way, you can have a big picture of your future and enough time and a lot of enthusiasm to achieve big goals in your life.

And even if you fail, you know it before the age of 25. And the next time you start again, you prepare yourself in advance.

And coincidentally, if you succeed in 25 years, you’ve 50 years to live a happy life.

  • It helps you to find the purpose of your life too early
  • It reduces the risk of failure
  • If you take big decisions early, you’ve enough time to play around with it
  • No pressure
  • It increases the success rate
  • No regrets; because you’ve got enough time to try everything you ever wanted to try in your life

2. Be Responsible

Responsibility is what defines your obligations.

And if you are responsible, you know your moral imperative or duties better than others.

It defines you, your character/relationship, and your behavior.

Key Points –

  • Responsibility makes a great relationship – for example, a responsible husband has an obligation to his wife (Taking care of her & giving her a joyful life.)
  • You’re playing several characters in your life (you’re someone’s son, brother, or just a friend), and if you’re not responsible, you can’t be a great son, brother, or a friend
  • A responsible person never complains about others.
  • And of course – being responsible makes life easier

3. Be Patience

Patience is the key to long-term success.

It encourages you to do something that you believe can work for you.

A person with this quality dares to achieve big in his life and can stick longer to his goals.

So I must say that patience is a privilege, and cheap people cannot afford it. It can make life easier.

Key Points –

  • Impatient people are more likely to procrastinate things. And they don’t believe in the long-term success
  • Patience plays a vital role in mental and physical well-being
  • It can better control your emotions and mental stress
  • It helps you to invest more time in yourself and increases your success rate


4. Don’t Care about People’s Opinion

When I was born, I saw my life from a different perspective. And thought that life is so easy; full of joy and excitement.

But as I grew up, people and society started teaching me. They imposed their point on me.

And people’s opinions had become a reality in my life. And it changed me and my attitude as well.

Soon I started caring about people’s opinions and beliefs. And on seeing this, people’s faith became my reality.

Everything I had been learning since childhood gradually became my belief and it moved into my belief system which completely changed me.

But now when I look back at my childhood, I think I was right.

So the point here is that someone’s opinions don’t have to become your reality.

Remember, your brain is a small container containing different types of thoughts and beliefs. And if you fill this container with someone’s beliefs or opinions, you don’t have space to fill it with yours. Or even if you think of doing this, you need to flush everything out. 

So think about it!

Key Points –

  • If you care about people’s opinions, you don’t have your own beliefs.
  • You never believe in yourself
  • You will never set another goal without the consent of the other people
  • But if you do not pay attention to the opinion of the people, then you can dream of fulfilling your destiny.


5. Always optimistic about the future

Being optimistic plays an important role in making your life easier.

In fact, women who are optimistic have a lower risk of heart disease and death, an American study says.

But you have to accept the fact that you are going to face difficulties in your life.

And this is the bitter truth; No one can deny it.

It is difficult to overcome disappointments and failures. But in the end, if you don’t fight back, they become more powerful and can keep you down for the rest of your life.

So whenever you have difficulties, try to play your best trick. It keeps you away from pessimism and gives you positivity.

  • Being pessimistic makes you inferior, cowardly, and full of negativity
  • An optimistic person finds opportunity in difficulties. It makes you solution-oriented
  • And no doubt, being optimistic makes life easier

6. Be Disciplined

Being disciplined is the only symptom of a successful person.

It makes you responsible, productive, efficient, and grateful for your work.

You never complain about anything in your life. You can fulfill your commitments. You know the value of time.

Being disciplined can help you succeed in your life and of course, make life easier.

Key Points –

  • Discipline makes you self-controlled, reliable, and responsible
  • Discipline powers you to achieve anything you wish to achieve in your life
  • If you are disciplined, you know your priorities
  • It defines everything from your small tasks and decisions to your behavior
  • A disciplined person is more likely to get what he wants to achieve because he loves to do things in order
  • Discipline motivates you to do next and ultimately leads to success

7. Love yourself, Respect yourself

Loving or respecting yourself boosts your self-esteem which encourages you to believe in yourself.

And if you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything you want in your life.  Also, you don’t need another person to make you happy. You can be happy even if you are alone.

Above all, it makes you more intuitive and gives you the power to work hard and do more for yourself.

  • If you love yourself, you can take care of yourself
  • It encourages you to work more on yourself
  • And of course, this one habit can make life easier


8. Listen to one motivational speech every morning

I have to ask you…

Why do you eat every day? Why do you sleep every night?

Can you answer these questions? No!

Why? Because it is your necessity, not the choice. So there is no question to ask.

Similarly, motivating yourself every day is as important as eating and sleeping every day.

Your brain produces 6000 thoughts every day. Some of these are toxic and produce negativity.

These Negative thoughts can convince your brain to make bad decisions in your life which can lead to the worst events in future life.

So, to detox your mind you need to refresh your thoughts. And this can be done by listening to or watching the motivational speech in the morning.

It’s a great way to keep you productive and positive for the whole day.

  • It enhances your daily life
  • It changes your thoughts
  • Daily motivation powers you to chase your dreams
  • It kills negativity and keeps you positive and charged for the whole day
  • It gives you a new perspective to live your life
  • Improves your thought process


9. Eat less but healthy

Overeating is a sign of unhealthy life.

I remember a famous doctor’s quote, ‘Eat to live, but not live to eat.’

Overeating can have many health consequences such as excess body fat, obesity (metabolic syndrome), nausea, constipation, bloating, laziness, and other physical & mental issues.

The point is that you need to eat less but be healthy. If you do so you can improve your physical and mental health.

Key Points –

  • Excessive calorie intake can cause memory loss and impair brain function
  • High-calorie consumption (2100 – 6000 calories a day) can double the risk of mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
  • A healthy diet consisting of nutritious foods with proper calorie levels can keep you younger, more energetic, and physically/mentally fit.
  • No doubt, eating less can make life easier.


10. Dream BIG

One of the best ways to make life easier is to achieve something big.

But the problem is that many of you feel inferior when thinking big and it diminishes your abilities to accomplish something great in your life.

So develop this simple habit instead – Just break your big dreams into small parts of achievements.

Doing so convinces your brain to take it into account.

The great thing about this strategy is that now you have small goals. And when you accomplish one of the goals, you will have a sense of accomplishment. And it encourages you to achieve the next and the next and the next.

 So I recommend you to dream big because eventually, you have to play around with a small part of it. And if you achieve these goals one by one, One day your dream will be your reality.

11. Keep Your Circle Small

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it walking around with others. They will impose their thoughts on you. They fill your mind with their concerns, thoughts, opinions, and beliefs.

Ultimately, you do not have time to think about yourself. And it keeps you away from yourself and your dreams. And for this reason, you do not believe in yourself.

So having a small circle of friends can save you time. And you don’t need to care about people’s opinions as it reinforces your own beliefs

  • No one can help you overcome your fears, you learn it by yourself
  • You have enough time to work on your dreams
  • No disturbances


12. Don’t Share Your Ideas with Anyone

If you really want to make life easier, do not share your secrets with others; especially friends who do not respect you and your opinion.

Key Points –

  • If you do this, people will start giving you options. Or give you at least one reason to change your direction
  • Jealousy plays a big role in people’s relationships; especially friendships. All your friends don’t want to see you succeed


13. Walk 10,000 steps every day

Physical and mental health are interdependent. If you are physically weak, it can affect you mentally.

Today’s world of technology has made people so capable that they can do everything without moving a damn muscle.

Unfortunately, it is making your body inactive. And because of this people are getting sick.

This is why it is recommended to walk 10,000 steps every day. By doing this daily, your body gets the necessary movements.

However, for a perfectly healthy life, you need to go to the gym every day or do yoga. But those who are busy, have to find time to walk at least 10K steps every day.

Including this little habit in your routine can make you active and productive for the whole day.

  • It increases your energy rate
  • Gives a positive sense of accomplishment
  • It controls fat and blood pressure
  • It strengthens your bones and muscles
  • Reduce the risk of heart attack


14. Visualize your dream

Just dreaming is not enough, you need to work hard to make it a reality. Most importantly, you need to imagine your dream every day.

There are times when you give up on yourself. But imagining your achievements and goals can help get you back on track.

I have added it here because it is quite reliable for me. And maybe even reliable for you.

Whenever you think about giving up, just imagine your dream in your mind and repeat it until it becomes clear in your mind.

Doing this strengthens your brain and any thoughts against your goals disappear.


15. Value Your Time

Time is the most valuable asset in your life. It gives you a sense of tomorrow and tells you that you are growing older.

Time is a natural phenomenon. You can’t produce MORE time. But the only thing you can do is Invest and add value to your time.

For this, you need to know the characteristic of the time.

The first characteristic is CONSISTENCY. Time is consistent. So you need to be consistent.

The second one is ‘IRREVERSIBLE’. You can’t go in the past and undo what you’ve done so far. Rather learn from the past and be irreversible. It means once you get started, just focus on progression.

The third one is ‘MEASURABLE’; as your life is measurable, so the time. That’s why you need to work hard and stay focused to get things done in time. Otherwise, there will be a time when there are regrets.


16. Invest 30 – 60 minutes on yourself every day

You need to give yourself at least 30 minutes regardless of work. It can help you to know your strengths and weaknesses.

In addition, you can discover yourself, and your purpose, and achieve your goals in order to fulfill your purpose.

  • It boosts your self-esteem
  • It can help you understand yourself better
  • Improves your decision-making abilities
  • Gives you a clear vision
  • It nurtures your belief system
  • Improves your thought process


17. Improve Productivity

Time shortage makes People leave or quit their work.

Most probably this is due to undisciplined work processes or unproductive methods of execution.

Let’s make a deal! You can improve your productivity and work efficiency.

The first thing to improve productivity is discipline. And the other thing is to be involved in your work. The last thing is to adopt some productivity techniques.

A technique that you can use to boost your productivity is the Pomodoro technique. It consists of 6 simple steps.

  1. Choose your task
  2. Commit yourself to spend 25 minutes just on your work; no calls, no email checks, and no social media. Focus on your work for 25 minutes
  3. Concentrate on your work.
  4. Once the first 25 minutes are completed end your work. And mark it as completed.
  5. Take a short break (3-5 minutes) and repeat the above steps 3 times.
  6. After four Pomodoro (100 minutes of work), take a longer break (15–30 minutes), reset your checkmark count to zero, then go to step 1.

This is how you can work on your productivity to improve work efficiency and concentration.


18. Don’t Try To Be Perfect At the Beginning

No one is perfect!

But many times, I have seen that people want to be perfect from the beginning.

But you do not need to be perfect initially because it can give you a reason to start complaining and comparing. And it can lower your self-esteem.

For example, suppose you have convinced yourself to become a popular YouTuber in 2 years.

Now what happens is that the moment you aim for perfection, you can complain to yourself.

And unknowingly, you will start comparing yourself to successful people who have been there for years.

And it turns out that you want everything good from day one. From great video quality to acting.

Actually, you set a high benchmark from day one. And if you don’t reach that benchmark, you give up on your dreams. And this is what most people do.

So my point is that you do not need to compete with anyone first. Initially compete with yourself. And once you’ve put enough time and energy into your work, you are ready to invest more and aim higher.

19. Get Up Early In the Morning

Getting up early in the morning can really make life easier.

In the early hours of the morning, you prepare for the rest of your day. In the morning you are more productive, energetic, thoughtful, excited, and curious to accomplish your goals of the day.

Most importantly, if you start your day with a morning routine, you can get more than anyone who wakes up late.

Key Point –

  • Morning time is productive. So if you wake up early, you’ll be more productive
  • You have more time to organize yourself and your work
  • You feel more energetic and calm.
  • The early morning routine encourages you to add essential fitness habits to your life. Like YOGA, Meditation, or GYM.
  • It enables you to start your day early and gives you a sense of fulfillment; no regrets!

20. Quit These Bad Habits Immediately

Bad habits make you unproductive, stressed, and less efficient. And once formed, these habits are difficult to break.

So it is important that you never adopt these 8 habits.

  • Complaining
  • Comparing
  • Watching controversial news
  • Eating unhealthy FOOD
  • Procrastination
  • Pessimistic

21. Don’t feel inferior

People underestimate themselves because they feel inferior at some point in life.

It weakens your self-esteem and prevents you from going outside your comfort zone. And because of this, you will be set for the ordinary.


22. Take challenges

Challenges are what make you powerful enough to pursue your dreams. It gives new experiences and fills your life with adventure.

If you really want to live a beautiful life, then you need to accept the challenges. Challenges are obstacles that can give a new shape to your life.

So never run away from challenges, instead, accept them, face them, and fight them.


23. Imagination

Les brown; a motivational speaker once said, ‘History has been read and also been written by people with imagination.’

Imagination makes big difference.  And it’s all about how you see the world.


24. Read books

Book reading is a great habit. And if you make a decision to read one good book every month, then you can empower your thoughts and make yourself more intuitive than you were ever before.

Doing this enhances empathy, Helps you sleep well, improves vocabulary, increases communication skills, and deepens your thought process.

In fact, long-term readers can develop an ability called ‘theory of mind’ that can help you build social relationships effectively. (Research shows)

Moreover, it prevents age-related cognitive decline, reduces stress, and helps you live longer.



Early decisions and good habits can make a big difference in your life. Even the right decision is wrong if it was taken too late. So as soon as you correct your decisions and habits, you can make life easier.
