For example, suppose there is a conversation that you don’t want to ignore. Then you can set the notification alerts with different indication or sound which will genuinely notify you the right discussion.

2. WHATSAPP VIDEO CALL SWITCH BUTTON

Earlier, when you made a voice call, you can’t switch to video call.

But new WhatsApp update has introduced you the new functionality which allows you to switch to video call without ending the voice call.

To enable this option, first, click the video call icon, a request is sent to the recipient, if the recipient accepts the request video call will start. Otherwise, you can continue with the voice call.

2. Save your time because there is no need to end up the call.

3. VOICE, VIDEO CALL IN GROUP

The old version of WhatsApp didn’t allow you to talk with more than two members of a group. But now you can add more than two people and can speak with each other.

Similar to YouTube playback.

When you watch any video while using WhatsApp, you can’t go anywhere. You need to stick with the same window. That means you can’t check other messages and media.

But the WhatsApp new feature gives you the ability to watch the video while checking other messages.

The feature is pretty similar to YouTube, where you can watch the videos while searching for other videos.

5. WHATSAPP BUSINESS

WhatsApp now allows people to create their business profile. For taking the benefits of this feature, you need to download another app called “WhatsApp Business” which is very similar to WhatsApp.

By using this app, you can engage with people who are interested in your business. You need just to create your business profile.

Once you’ve installed the app, head to the settings and click the “business settings”. Here you’re asked for following the information given below.

As you complete your profile, you’re ready to use this profile to explore your business.

6. APPLE’S CARPLAY FEATURE

Recently WhatsApp has revealed that WhatsApp 2.18.20 version will now support Apple’s CarPlay feature.

The WhatsApp new feature allows you to receive the WhatsApp notification while driving the car. By this feature, you can get the list of messages in the form of the badge on the CarPlay user interface. Siri read out all those unread messages.

7. DELETE FOR EVERYONE

Back in days, when you sent a wrong letter to your friend, you were unable to delete that message from both the side.

But now WhatsApp has made it super easy for you to clean conversation from both the side.

Just follow these steps to delete the conversation for everyone

1. First of all, open your WhatsApp chat messenger.
2. Next, head to that conversation that you wish to delete.
3. Long press on that particular message, you can even select the more messages to delete.
4. As you long press, you will see the delete icon in the upper right corner.
5. As you click that icon, you will see an option “delete for everyone”.
6. Click that option and all done.

Note: The feature will only work if both sender and recipient are using the latest version of WhatsApp. 

8. TWO-STEP VERIFICATION

Apart from general features, WhatsApp also keeps its user’s account secure. That’s why WhatsApp has introduced a new feature for both Android and iPhone to make your statement highly secured.

You can find this option under ACCOUNT settings.

CONCLUSION

No doubt, WhatsApp new features are amazing. You can take the benefits of these advanced features. But unfortunately, users are discouraging the use of the status feature.

Don’t worry; if you don’t want to use the latest version of WhatsApp, then you can downgrade your most recent release into the older version to take advantage of old status and contact feature.
