Become an Expert on JustAnswerJustAnswer is one of the platforms that invite experts like you to answer questions from people who have problems.

The company is known for being very transparent about what they pay participants, how often they conduct studies, and how much money they make per study completed.

The site looks pretty simple, but it does offer some unique features that make it stand out from other survey sites and apps. For example, you don’t just answer questions; you discuss issues with brands in real life. And unlike many sites, Respondent doesn’t ask you to fill out long forms filled with irrelevant information about yourself. 

Anyone 18 years or older is eligible. Studies typically focus on people living in the United States because of the large number of respondents who live there. However, studies are sometimes conducted outside of the US, such as in the UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, etc. 

Respondent work with some of the biggest brands in the world including Microsoft, IBM, GoDaddy, Intuit, and many more. Here are just a few examples of the type of research they conduct.

3. Swagbucks ($100/mo)

Unlike JustAnswer, Swagbucks doesn’t require you to be an expert in a particular field. It’s a legitimate way to earn money by answering questions about products and services that you have used before. 

It works in the same way survey sites do. You will be asked questions about your shopping habits, lifestyle choices, etc. 

Just participate in surveys and share your opinion. The more surveys you complete, the more points you’ll earn. 

According to Swagbucks, 100 SB = $1.00. You can redeem your SB for cash or gift cards with as few as 300 SB.



4. MyLot ($15/Mo)

MyLot is an online discussion forum where you can make money by starting a discussion, or replying to a discussion. 

You can earn $15 per month or more depending on how engaging your contribution was. To collect your earned money, you need an active PayPal account and a minimum payment threshold of $5. 



5. Answeree ($10 – $20 per month)

The “Answeree” is another website where you earn money by answering questions. This is similar to Quora. There are no limits on how many questions you can answer.

You can sign up on the site and post answers to questions to help others. You’ll earn points, which include 10 points for one answer and 5 points per comment Plus, you can get surprise payments of up to 500 for top-performance posts in the search engine. 10 points are worth $1.00.

10 Points is equal to $0.01 (1 Cent). Once you have at least $2 in your wallet you can request a withdrawal. Payment is done through PayPal and cryptocurrencies. 

The pay is quite low and you can’t make more than $10 – $20 a month. But it’s better to have something than nothing. 



6. Quora 

Quora is one of the most popular Q&A sites that pay not only for answering questions but also for asking questions.

YES! you can literally make money just by asking questions (Not answering) on Quora. You don’t need any prior knowledge to ask a question. But your question must be unique, interesting, and well-written.

However, if you don’t have a creative mind to come up with compelling/unique questions daily, you can create and grow a space or community on quora and monetize it later. 



7. HelpOwl is a crowdsourcing site where people ask questions about anything and get help from others who answers those questions. You can earn points when you answer questions, and redeem points for Amazon gift cards or Walmart gift cards. 

Every time you answer a question can make you 100 points. And if that question is marked as helpful, you’ll receive extra 10 points. You can even earn 250 points if you submit a manual of 1 – 10 pages.



8. 6ya ($7 for a 30-minute call)

With 6ya, you can make money while helping people over the phone! This is a great way to make extra cash without being stuck in front of a computer screen all day long. 

All you do is pick up the requested calls, talk to people, answer questions, and provide helpful advice. You can even choose your working hours to get the most out of the day. 

The signup process involves simple steps. First go to 6Ya, sign up, Select a category of your expertise and complete the registration.  After that, you have to complete your profile by adding a profile picture and a valid payment method. Lastly, verify your experience in a brief phone session. 

Once you’re done, you can set the number of calls you can attend each day and start earning $1 – $7 per 1 – 30 minutes of serving calls to potential clients. Your reward will be credited to your bank account via ACH(Automated Clearing House) payment method. 

Requirement for applying as an expert at 6Ya

  1. You must be 21 years or older
  2. You must be a U.S. citizen. 
  3. 2 years of paid professional repair experience for the category (Veterinarian, Auto repair, tech support, business, Appliance repair, etc.) in which you are applying.
