As I promised, I will reveal a secret. And you know it could be a goldmine for your business.

So, here it is…
The strategy is inspired by Funny YouTube creators.
The Creators create funny videos and publish them on YouTube platforms.
This is something you always miss out on. Right?
But why?
Because everyone loves to watch entertainment videos.
It doesn’t matter, whether you like to learn SEO or short tricks of your math problems. You still like to watch funny videos.
It means you can consider the FUNNY VIDEO category as a COMMON INTEREST.
So here is a catch…
Guess what?
If you are in business and producing funny videos along with your product, you have a huge crowd that at least love your funny video content, if not the product. And the great thing is that if you capture an audience by creating funny videos, they will more likely to connect with you.
However, they don’t care about your business initially but I’m pretty sure that many of them will convert into customers later.
Since 2014, I’ve been using YouTube to watch engineering lessons and passed the semester exams successfully.
Really, I learnt a lot from YouTube. And I am sure you too.

Of course, it works but not in the way you’re thinking.
People won’t connect with you because they don’t care about your products until they don’t have a strong reason to buy.
This is something when you ask for an unknown girl to marry you. She is going to say ‘NO’
Absolutely, because she doesn’t know you and she has no feelings for you.
Similarly, people are not going to connect with you if they don’t know you.
And this is why your business takes time to get to the next level.
But wait for a second…
What if people know you & your business already? Then you have a better chance to get engaged with the audience.
I mean if you propose a girl that already knows you, there are chances that she accepts your proposal.

Now that you have learnt the real meaning of this YouTube video strategy, it’s time to know how it works.
And I have great news:
It’s damn EASY…
You don’t need to start from scratch. You can simply implement it in your business anytime you want.
So let’s get started…
I have broken down the entire process into 5 simple steps.
STEP 1: Understand your business model
Know: – What your business is all about?
E-commercial, Solopreneur and small business fit better with this strategy.
A few categories in e-commerce businesses are: –
- Clothes (Like t-shirts )
- Tech gadgets and devices (Like headphones )
- Grocery (like Ear-rings)
- Gifts (like printed cups, cards)
STEP 2: Make a team of actors
Next, hire a small team of actors (2 – 5).
It plays the lead role in your business.
If you don’t want to hire actors, then make your team. But remember your team should be able to act any funny role.
They should be a comedian and can play roles professionally.
Once you’ve a well-rounded team, it’s time to start creating video content that contains fun or any emotion in it.
Make videos that express emotions. That’s it…
The more you touch people emotions, the better they know you.
Once they know you, they’ll know your business as well. And more likely to buy from you.

In a nutshell, they make people laugh or sometimes emotional without expecting anything in return.
It creates a bridge that establishes the foundation of belief that turns into Trust later.
And the trust helps you bring loyal customer to your business. This is how you grow your business.
But for that, you need to add funny content to your respiratory.
But why funny content?
A couple of reasons: –

Now, all you need is scripting.

If your script is not compelling, you won’t get the traction.

- Keep your video script short. ( 2 to 10 minutes)
- Don’t promote products initially. I mean your script should be such that it encourages people to subscribe to your channel. So add some value first and don’t try to sell.
- Don’t show a video like an ad. Because people hate ads.
- Make a video that is (Funny vine, storytelling or inspirational).
Once you’ve a compelling script, you’re ready to shoot the video.
Use a DSLR camera and lighting for better quality.
As you complete shooting and editing, your video is ready to go live.
Upload it on YouTube and Facebook as well.
Next, share it on other social media platforms like Reddit, Instagram and Twitter.
Within a few weeks, your video will start responding.
Make sure to keep on tracking your video performance. Check out the video engagement, comments, subscriptions and audience retention.
With this, you can decide how well your videos are doing.
Lastly, one thing you should remember is ‘Consistency’.

It’s easy to implement the strategy.
First thing first, you need to figure out how the strategy fits into your business model.
For that, you need to plan your business segments.
Let’s suppose, you’re running a grocery e-commerce business or maybe you’re about to start this type of business.
Then make a list Like this: –
- Audience (What kind of audience you want )
- Market potential (how big market is?)
- Customer demand
- Cost for setting up your business
With this, you’ll get to know how much money you need to invest and how powerful your marketing model is.
However, it doesn’t play any role in this YouTube marketing strategy.
But you still need to collect the basic data to make sure whether your business is in demand or not.
Once you’ve done the research, now it’s time to jump into the real process.
STEP 1. Create a YouTube Channel
The very first STEP is to create a fresh YouTube Channel.
I’m assuming that you already know how to create a professional YouTube channel.

Be sure you place your business contact email in the about section of your channel.
Another thing is ‘connect your Social media accounts.’
But don’t add your business profile initially, instead add your fresh social media account associated with your new funny channel.
It is because you shouldn’t promote your business first, let people know you as a funny creator initially.
STEP 2. Content Creation
The next thing is ‘Content creation’…
This is the coolest part of your business where you create funny video content for your business to get eyeballs.
Don’t create videos on your brand and product initiatives.
It’s the execution time…
Just shoot, shoot and shoot…
You need to shoot funny videos as much as you can.
AND fill out your video with emotions.
Yes!

You have created a channel and added funny content to it. The next thing is to do is grow your audience.
It may be hard initially, but no worries you need to keep on creating content.

Simply, find a popular topic. It could be anything, maybe a movie trailer. And create a funny version of it.
Again, find another popular topic and produce funny content.

Once you’ve enough content, people will start noticing you.
And if you’re lucky enough then one of your videos will go viral and it could induce perpetual love from YouTube.
Apart from it, you can also diversify content on social media platforms to capture a huge audience.
Once you’ve got at least 5,000 – 10,000 subscribers, tell them (your subscribers) that besides a funny creator you’re also the owner of a company.
I’m sure they will wonder how influential and hardworking you are. And it encourages them to review your business at least once.
And many of them will become your customer if you offer them what they truly want.
STEP 4. Build a relationship and trust
You are now on the positive side of your business because you are executing my video marketing strategy.
With this strategy, building a deep relationship is so easy.
Which is, of course, the complex part of your business. But it now becomes way easier for you.
All you need is ‘compelling video content.’

The more funny and viral content you create, the more people will know you.

This is what you can achieve with your content. I mean you’ve people who have subscribed to your channel, now it’s your duty how you build a relationship with them.

- Listen to your audience. I mean read their comments and reply to them politely.
- Consider audience feedback.
- Go live and reply to their questions
- Make some heart touching videos to get their attention.
- Ask them to follow you on social media platforms
- Be genuine
STEP 5. Convert your YouTube fans into Customers
Of course, not all subscribers are your customers. The conversion ratio is the measure of how much people convert.
Suppose, 10,000 people have subscribed to your channel and only 50 converts.
It means the conversion ratio is 0.50%.
And if you somehow increase the conversion ratio up to 2%, it means 200 people will be your customer.
Right?
But the question comes, how do you increase the conversion ratio?
To increase the conversion ratio, you need to know the major parameters that affect conversion ratio: –
- Product type: – Your product should be such that it solves the consumer’s problem and add some value to their time and efforts. If people love your product or service, the conversion ratio will be increased respectively.
- Aesthetic: – Your product showcasing and packaging matters. A Product with dump packaging is not going to bring you any lead.
- Return policy: – Nearly 67% of people will read your return policy before buying anything from you. So keep your return policy in the consumer’s favour.
- Make your business secure: – 84% of users would cancel a purchase if data were sent over an insecure connection. Use SSL certificates and HTTPS protocol for safe and secure communication.
- Product showcasing: – Using videos for product showcasing on your store can increase product purchases by 144%.
- Low shipping charges: – According to bigcommerce.com, a high shipping charge discourage 58% consumer to make a purchase successful. So make sure you somehow adjust it to keep the profit margin high and shipping charges low.
But the ‘product TYPE’ is the MAJOR parameter that defines the role of other parameters mentioned above.
For example,
If you’re selling a Bra to the male audience, then you’ll get zero conversion.
Obviously, you’re targeting the wrong audience.
But the same product with the female audience is leading to sales.
Because this time you’re targeting the right audience that drives the consumers to buy your product.
But there is no guaranteed sale…
Why? Because of the other conversion parameters listed above.
And you might even get zero conversion again if your business has none of these parameters (listed above) like aesthetics, good return policy, security, and low shipping charges.

Finally, you have a channel with over 50,000 subscribers.
